I walked around the castle looking for where Elphie said she'd be waiting for me. She'd given Chisterie a note to let me know that she was safe. She told me that she would wait for me. So here I was, looking for some trapdoor in a castle in the middle of nowhere. I turned another corner and heard something. It sounded like a whisper, it was so quiet, but I knew it was her. My Elphie. I ran, remembering her instructions in my head. I thought I was in the basement, but there was no way to be sure. I paused, listened, and gave the signal. Three knocks.
