"When you love someone," Brittany began, staring out over the room, her eyes watering slightly, "it's like being hit by a truck when you realize. You wake up one morning and it's like…Wow. You never thought it would happen, but it does and it's amazing. Loving someone is like having all these emotions rolled into one, it's like a roller coaster ride all the time."
She turned her head to the left, to Santana. The years had been kind to her. She looked stunningly beautiful, even at the age of 72, Brittany still felt as if she was the most beautiful person in the world. She had birthed their children, travelled the world with her, supported her through thick and thin. And now, here they were…
"As you all know, today is our fiftieth wedding anniversary. We've known each other for over sixty years, and, as I'm sure you all remember, we tied the knot when we were twenty-two. And I'd just like to say to each and every one of you…thank you."
The table smiled at the two of them. Their children and THEIR children, their old friends, their brothers and sisters, everybody was just genuinely happy.
Santana squeezed Brittany's hand in hers and smiled at the table too. Rachel and Quinn stood off to her right, standing beside their own children (who had not yet given them grandchildren).
Their sons Michael and Ramon and their daughters Sabrina and Molly, standing with their own children, smiling proudly at their mothers, taking in everything. Ramon kneeled down to speak to his children, two boys about to turn seventeen. "See that? That's love."
"So, today, since it's our Gold Anniversary – and the start of more to come – I would just like to give my loving wife…this." And Santana pulled out a small oblong box, holding it out. "A gold necklace for the most precious thing in the world to me."
The room burst into applause as the two embraced gently, holding onto each other tightly as Brittany's eyes suddenly overflowed with tears.
"I love you."
"Always and forever," Santana continued, releasing her wife from the hug only to kiss her on the lips. "'Til death do us part."
"Like the wedding vows?"

"shhh don't talk, you'll only wreck you beautiful voice." Rachel whimpered softly and Quinn cuddled her closer. Quinn pulled her back into her lap once more. this routine had been going on for the past hour at least. Gelphie
I walked around the castle looking for where Elphie said she'd be waiting for me. She'd given Chisterie a note to let me know that she was safe. She told me that she would wait for me. So here I was, looking for some trapdoor in a castle in the middle of nowhere.
I turned another corner and heard something. It sounded like a whisper, it was so quiet, but I knew it was her. My Elphie. I ran, remembering her instructions in my head. I thought I was in the basement, but there was no way to be sure. I paused, listened, and gave the signal. Three knocks. I waited only a moment before the trapdoor opened and Elphaba pulled herself out.
